Ignacio Kobayashi used to have no problems sleeping as a child. During middle school, his sleep became more erratic, more restless. As he entered high school, slumber became more elusive. His parents tried a variety of medicines and therapies, and they sought advice from different specialists, but nothing worked. They consult the latest expert and ask if there are any other possible remedies for their son who is now 18. The treatment she offers is fantastical, but they are desperate.

It is the end of an era, or is it? Reuben Delgado heard that his local mall was closing forever. He hadn't been there in years, not since he was a child, and decided to visit one last time out of nostalgia. Most of the spaces are vacant and the rest are deplorable. There are few patrons around in those final hours. On the way out, he spots a bizarre store selling oddities. With his interest piqued, he steps inside. Among the wares, there is a wolf pelt for sale.

Two years ago, when Charlie was 16, his parents found out that he was gay. They became emotionally distant from him as if he were a stranger. This year, they decided to go on a two-week cruise without him. While they're away, the heating needs to be checked, and he must call a technician.
