Many of the characters come to decision points about where they want their lives to lead. Cassie tries to explain the device to Miguel and Dana, recruiting them against Leila, but before the confrontation can happen she winds up fucking a teammate. Maddie has a taste of public humiliation, but it helps her come to terms with her mental dilemma, and she devises a plan.
