Retired Pokemon trainer, Emilia Hawkins, lounges about her apartment with her beloved partner Arbok. The two of them spend their days enjoying their retirement by taking in the sights, the sounds and one another. Until a suggestion from a friend turns both their worlds upside down.

A woman named Molly decides to give in to some nostalgia and boot up her old file on Pokemon Crystal, only to find it corrupted and in need of repair. She soon finds taking the repair into her own hands may not have been the best idea when the game decides to make her take the place of its mascot character to fix its corrupted data.
