This is a WIP to allow for further collaboration and authorization. All credit goes to djbends for writing one of the best stories on this site with his use of description, storytelling, and pacing. This prequel-sequel has very similar pacing and story plot points to the original, some of which were taken and replicated from the original work. Some time ago, djbends and I discussed some ideas going forward, and I am definitely open to more sequels and spin-offs to this concept.
