Thanks Brat, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm not sure that I'll do a sequel. I'm personally more into female transformations, so Richard's transformation will probably remain implied. As for Laura's mental state, that's a tough question. I believe the answer would be yes, but it's very hazy for her. Let's say, for example, she were to encounter her parents. She'd probably recognize them, and maybe even have some kind basic feelings for them. But her mind is much simpler now, so she probably won't understand how she knows them, just that she does.And she can't understand words, so she won't be able to communicate. The core of who she was is still there, and she might be vaguely aware that something's changed. But she won't be able to really comprehend it. She's now pretty much living moment to moment, driven by instinct. And in her current state, instinct will take priorty, just as it did during her transformation, when the urge to make took priority over her feelings for Richard.
